I needed to update my blog but really have nothing to update you on so I will post a pix of how much I have grown.

I am 19 1/2 months old. I am going to be a big brother in Feb. I can't wait to meet my new baby brother or sister. I'm gonna help mama and daddy with the new baby any way I can. Already I know how to clean up my toys, go to bed/sleep on time, I'm learning so many new words and will copy anything you say (I understand more than I say though), I tell mama if I have peed or pooped in my diaper (soon I'll learn to go in the potty), get my shoes off the shelf, eat up all my food and try not to be messy :). I love trucks, cars or anything with wheels.
I am super excited for Christmas and have gotten all my presents bought. I got something super special for my big sister, Madisyn and I bought a gift for "bumpy". I have been such a good boy this year, I can't wait to see what Santa brings me. We are going to have Christmas morning on Dec 18th cause my grandma and auntie from Canada are coming to visit and we wanted to share our christmas with them. I have not seen them since I was 1 month old. They are gonna be so surprised as to how big I have gotten.

TRICK-OR-TREAT

My costume for Halloween is a monkey. We are going to have spider & tombstone pizza, wormy apples and punch with hands in it for dinner then trick-or-treating with my cousins. If I am good for mama, I might let her take a picture of me in my costume but sometimes I just don't like to sit still!!! :)

My own room

My big sister, Madisyn, moved out of our room so now I have my own room too. Mama moved my crib around so our play tent could be set up with all my toys and chairs in it. For christmas, I'll get a toddler sized bed and start sleeping in it before the new baby arrives. I can't wait for a new baby brother or sister but until then I'll enjoy the room all to myself!!

Kian in the pool

Kian loves the pool, so much in fact that he screams and cries when we try to get him out. He loves to sit in his floatie and be bounced or be thrown up in the air. Sometimes it's easier to just strip off his diaper and put him in the pool, as we did in this video. So warning, there is some nudity!!!

My Birthday Party

My 1st birthday party was on may 8th. my friends all got to my house around 5:30. we started with eating. daddy made burgers and hot dogs on the grill. it was so nice outside that we ate and played outside. after eating, we got to decorate and eat our airplane cupcakes. i was allowed to make such a mess! then we went on a scavenger hunt to find our treat bags. we went inside to open presents cause by then it was getting a little colder. i got lots of new clothes, sand toys, bathing suit, airplane ride on, toys, bath toys, shoes, bubbles. here are a few pictures to show what a good time i had at my party.

Its Fun to be One

It's hard to believe that in 24 hours I will be 1 years old. I am so excited for my party on the 8th. Mama's friend is making homemade bubbles for us to play with. We are going to decorate airplane cupcakes and have a treat bag scavenger hunt. On Mother's Day around bedtime we are leaving for Michigan til the 18th, but that's not before we go to a BBQ for mama for Mother's Day. While in Michigan we are going to the Detroit zoo and a kids amusement park but mostly we will be visiting some of Daddy's old friends. I'll have plenty of pictures to share of my party and vacation when we get home.

i have so many cute pictures to share and the reason there are so many is cause my mama was lazy and hasn't posted a blog for awhile but she didn't stop taking pic of my adorable self.

in 6 days, i will 1 years old! mama is planning my first birthday party on the may 8th. if it's nice outside we are going to play with bubbles, water balloons, have a treat bag scavenger hunt and decorate airplane cupcakes. i'll have 24 friends (some are more like mama's friends but i don't mind) at my party. it will be so much fun and i'm sure i'll have plenty of pic to share.

My Easter

When i woke up there was an easter basket from the easter bunny waiting for me.

I got two summer outfits, two pairs of sandals, pajamas, an airplane toy with a pilot and passengers and only a few easter eggs full of candy.

mama caught me being all cute and cuddly on the floor.......

but i was on to her and up after her.......

but mama could tell i was tired by the first pic so now it was cuddle time and it didn't take long for me to fall into a deep sleep.....or for mama




and most importantly, i am now saying "mama" regularly. and i copy spitting and patting my hand over my mouth or mama's, daddy's or mady's and it sounds something like an indian war chant.

another update

mama thinks i am growing up too fast. my parents, grandma, family and friends think i will be walking before my 1st birthday. why do they think this? ever since i started crawling, i have advanced quickly to standing up holding onto to something and walking when holding hands with someone. what can i say....i wanna be able to keep up with my big sister and cousins when they play. mady has already discovered that with me crawling all i wanna do is play with her....and her toys!! sometimes she doesn't like that to much. like when she puts her babies down for a nap and covers them up with MY blanket, i take my blankie back. i can now reach her toys and books on the bookshelf and boy oh boy, can i make a mess and mady is the one who always has to help mama and daddy clean them up since i'm still too little to help. but mama reassures me that when i am old enough, she'll teach me that what i play with i have to clean up when i am done! i am always following mady around and want to be right next to her no matter what she is doing. she's the best big sister cause she'll get me one of my own toys to play with next to her when she doesn't want me touching the toy she is playing with. sometimes it works. right now she is playing with her dollhouse that has a baby, mama and daddy, beds, crib, table and chairs. she keeps moving it from the toy area to the couch to her desk so that i can't get her babies but i love her so much i just crawl to where she moves and mama just laughs cause maybe, just maybe mady is getting a little annoyed. now mama is telling her to just get me a different toy that i enjoy so i'll play with it instead. we'll see how well mamas plan works. but seriously i don't mean to be annoying!! (*wink,wink*)
also, now i have 9 teeth.

my mama spoke a little too soon in my first post. As soon as she said I'm not yet crawling, I got practicing and practicing more and then at grandma's on Mon night, I started crawling. I was even nice enough to do it before mama left for work so she could see me doing it for the first time (daddy was flying airplanes so he didn't get to see me doing it for the first time....sorry daddy!!) But he'll be home today and I'll show it to him then. Now mama's gotta make sure the floors are clean and all Mady's small toys are picked up. I'll try to help and be good by not putting anything in my mouth that I shouldn't but hey, lets face it, I am only a kid just beginning to explore!!

just the beginning...

I was born May 5th, 2008 @ 3:47am.


I am now 9 months and 24 days old.


I have a big sister, Madisyn Kathryn. She's 2 and 21 months old.


I live in Upstate, NY with my mama and daddy.

Currently my nickname is "Ki-To" for Kian Anthony (Tony) but I have also been called "Ki-Ki" and "farmer."

My first taste of rice cereal at 3 months old (on 9/3/08)



I got my first two bottom teeth at the same time. It was grandma Denault who first noticed them at thanskgiving dinner. Now I have 6 teeth.

I started sitting up for the first time on Dec. 23rd.

I'm not yet crawling, but when I am sitting up if I wanna go some place, I lie down, roll and then sit back up.

I can't hold my own bottles to my mouth yet cause I have had mama's milk my whole life and not had too many bottles to practice with. I will drink from a sippie cup though.

I love to stand up (with some assistance).

My big sister plays with me a lot and sure can make me laugh. We sure do love each alot.


I love playing peek-a-boo.

My favorite time of the day is bathtime but don't be fooled just because I love the water, I hate showers.

I have slept through the whole night since I was 5 months old (and that made mama & daddy very happy!!)

I can sign milk and mama is teaching me more words in sign language.

I can say "dada" and I've been known to say "mama" too but it's very rare (mama already knows how much I love her!!)
